Alan Kyeramateng resigns from the new patriotic party NPP

Alan Kyeramateng to go independent in the 2024 elections but all the pain goes to The New Patriotic Party.
The NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY heavy weight businessman and renowned politician Mr. Alan Kyeramateng has resigned from the new patriotic party (NPP) with immediate effect.

Mr Alan Kyeramateng announced his resignation today 25th September 2023 at the Movinpic Ambassador Hotel in Accra. The politician and former minister of Trade and Industry in a press statement held with major radio and Television stations said he now wants to stand as an independent candidate in the upcoming 2024 General Elections and does not want have anything doing with the NPP henceforth.

Below is a statement he posted on his official X account ;

“I wish to use this platform to announce that I am honourably resigning with immediate effect from the New Patriotic Party to contest for the high office of the President of the Republic of Ghana in the 2024 General Elections, as an Independent Presidential Candidate”.
