Powered by Akwaaba UK, this year’s event will include various activities like music and dance, fashion shows as well as food fair.

Over the past years the event has brought together more than 10,000 people from the Ghanaian community in Europe and other parts to showcase our proud culture and lifestyle.

Speaking at the launch of the event, Sarkodie who will be in charge of the overall artistic direction of this year’s festival expressed his willingness to use his experience as an artiste and creative person for the success of the event.

“I came on board not just because I’m Sarkodie and I want to perform. I don’t think that will be a big deal… I’ve been working with the organisers for a while, and I know that me being in the industry for a very long time means that there’s a little touch we can add, especially when it has to do with the artists… I’m sitting here representing the artists that are going to perform and make sure that they have the best as soon as they touch down in London”, he said.

Billed to perform at Ghana Party in the Park festival include top rappers D-Black, Yaw Tog, Kweku Flick, Amerado and Kofi Jamar, also performing are singers Gyakie, Mr Drew, S3fa, Malcolm Nuna and Camidoh with veteran highlife act Kwabena Kwabena joining the squad to jam and party hard with the crowd.
