The Government has declared May 13 as Eid-ul-Fitr public holiday

The government of Ghana via the Interior Ministry has said that coming Thursday which is May 13, will be observed as a public holiday while Muslims celebrate their yearly Eid-ul-Fitr holiday.

According to the Interior Ministries, it’s a legal national holiday and so every dweller must observe it regardless of your religion.

Muslims across the world began the current year’s month-long fasting on April 13, to stamp the eighth month of the Islamic schedule.

Muslims believe the Holy Quran was uncovered in Ramadan. They fast and participate in different customs to draw nearer to Allah.

Eid-ul-Fitr is a significant religious occasion celebrated by Muslims worldwide to stamp the finish of Ramadan, the Islamic blessed month of fasting (sawm).
