Here Are the 2023 BET Awards Winners

Nigerian and Africans undoubtedly biggest music export to t he rest of the world Burna Boy has won this years Best International Act at the BETs that was held yesterday (Sunday 25.06.2023) in Los Angeles, United States of America.

The musician who has won this prestigious award for the fourth time and currently enjoying his world tour with amazing performances and a couple other African acts like Labianca, Tems have all made Africans proud with their various awards at the BETs.

This years award also saw a tie between Beyoncés Renaissance and that of SZA’s SOS which definitely good for the music industry. That’s some healthy competition we can say.

Six awards were given out on Sunday night’s (June 25) telecast, with Latto accepting best female hip-hop artist and Coco Jones accepting best new artist in person. Teyana Taylor‘s mother, Nikki, accepted her daughter’s award and even called her up via FaceTime during the broadcast to let her know she won video director of the year.

In the 15 non-televised awards, there were two high-profile ties: Beyoncé’s Renaissance and SZA’s SOS tied for album of the year, while Chris Brown and Usher tied for best male R&B/pop artist.
