Israel Maweta hits 1 Million Steams on Boomplay Music

VGMA Winning African Traditional Musician, Israel Maweta is not here to play at all. His streaming stats on Boomplay Music just hit 1 million, organically. Returning from his 7-year break from music release, and also with a latest song released titled I No o Blame You”, Israel Maweta is giving us a good reason why we should give more ears to Ghanaian Traditional Music.

He posted on the eve of Sunday, May 21st that he has surpassed 1 million streams ‘exactly a week ago’, meaning he hit that target on Sunday, May 14th on the popular Music Streaming Service, Boomplay.

 

 

His numbers on social media and the streaming platforms are true evidence of how his Fans missed him when he went on a hiatus.

“I No Go Blame You”, his new cut which came with an official video was released on March 14th this year to spark his major return.
