Speaking at an event organised for the EP release, Skepta stated that it was more important for him to be with Wizkid on a song than Drake.
‘Being on a Wiz record is more important to me than asking Drake to jump on a song of mine’ – he said.
Recall that Skepta was essential in getting Drake to jump on Wizkid’s hit single ‘Ojuelegba’ in 2016, a gesture that solidly kickstarted Wizkid’s announcement to the western world. According to Skepta, he always knew Wizkid was a superstar, hence the reason he had always been rooting for him.
