Efia Odo To Nana Akufo-Addo: Building National Cathedral Is Not “Smart”

Actress and social activist Efia Odo has vociferously wadded into the construction of the controversial National Cathedral.

In a post on her social media handle, Efia chastised the ruling government and President Akufo-Addo for concentrating on a project which will not benefit citizens in anyway.

Efia Odo has been an active voice in national issues over the last few years.

According to her, instead of addressing the perennial flooding that devastates the country, the president has decided to build a national cathedral.

Efia Odo added that plans to build a house for God was not a smart and well thought about one.

“Mr President bi don’t think building a National Cathedral was a smart move. Every time it rains the country sinks, no amount of prayer will solve that. We need proper structures. Ghanaian urge you to make better decisions. After all they put you in power,” she tweeted.
