Spotify Wrapped: Sarkodie Named Most Streamed Ghanaian Artiste For 2021

Sarkodie has been naned as the most streamed Ghanaian artist by Spotify Wrapped for the year 2021.

Spotify Wrapped is a compilation of musicians around the world who had lot of streams and entertained the over 365 million active users of the on the platform.

Sarkodie claimed the album with most plays spot with “No Pressure” — fending off Justin Bieber’s “Justice” and Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” in the process.

For five years, Spotify Wrapped has published top artistes, playlists, albums and songs in a comprehensive yearly report based on data from subscribers.

Sarkodie maintained his brand and position as Ghana’s top artiste leading Drake and Burna Boy in the race. Kwesi Arthur and King Promise all made the list as of top 10 most streamed artiste on Spotify.

Songs from Black Sherif, Kuami Eugene and Wendy Shay also made it into Spotify Wrapped as most streamed playlists on Hot Hits Ghana chart.
